On the only volcanic mountain chain in Slovenia

The centre with a beautiful view on the Drava field (Dravsko polje) and the Slovene vineyards (Slovenske gorice) is surrounded by forests and meadows. It is a suitable starting point for all sorts of hiking and excursions to the near and remote surroundings. We study beautiful volcanic rocks, explore vegetation and animals in the forest, in the water and on the meadow; in clear evenings we have a gorgeous view on the stary sky. For those who like mountain-biking there are mountain-bikes at their disposal in the centre and prepared easy and demanding mountain-bike tours; Nordic walking and baseball are also very popular. In the winter we ski on Areh or Belvi and go cross-country skiing around the centre.
